LG SHOWCASES FIRST CURVED OLED TV

Last Tuesday (Nov. 26), me and Abe dropped by Black Sheep at the Fort where LG held a preview of one of the most awesome tech I've seen this year, their curved 60-inch OLED TV. I knew OLED made it possible for really thin TV's but I was not expecting how thin the TV actually was. My mouth was literally agape when i first laid my eyes on it.

WUNDERLIST

I have this weird obsession with making lists- of things I need to do, things I want to buy, or people I need to kill hug. So this app is simply just a godsend.

Available for almost any platform you could think of (OSX/WIN/IOS/BB/ANDROID), Wunderlist is a gorgeous looking app that is also packed with lots of features such as syncing lists across devices/platforms, as well as a sharing lists with multiple users. Before using this I used Google Tasks for my to-do list, and Evernote for my regular lists. Now all I need is this. I highly recommend you guys try it yourself.

KUVVA: A NEW WALLPAPER EVERYDAY

A pretty simple concept, but amazing nonetheless, Kuvva (PC and Mac) is an application that changes you desktop wallpaper each day. Each week the application features a different artist, who provides a set of 7 high res images for use. This week's images are c/o Raymond Lemstra whose artwork resembles robot-like faces, which i find really wonderful.

TAKE A TRIP DOWN MEMOLANE

Memolane is a new service that aggregates all your online social activities into one timeline. Think of it as a chronological diary for all the things you have liked, tweeted, posted, and uploaded. 

The interface is very clean and intuitive.

The services that are supported as of this writing include: Facebook (including pages), Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, Last.Fm, Foursquare, Instagram, Tripit, Youtube, Myspace, Vimeo, Wordpress, as well as RSS feeds for your blogs such as Tumblr or Blogger. Google+ is not supported as of now unfortunately. One other nice things about it is you can individually set privacy settings for each service, either to public, friends only, or private.

FITBIT

Although the Fitbit has been available for years, I had only discovered this rather curious piece of technology quite recently. This little gizmo can apparently track your activities via a clip-on device called the tracker which, when synced to the included cradle/charger, would then present to you some lovely looking charts and graphs about your physical activity for the day, such as calories burned, how many steps you have taken, among other things.

Another great thing about it is the fact that the tracker can wirelessly sync with the cradle, which happens automatically when the two devices are a few feet away from each other. You can even wear it to sleep, which would then allow it to give you information about your sleeping habits. The battery is said to last for a minimum of 3 days.

The Fitbit ($99) is unfortunately US only for now now, although there is always the option to order at Amazon and have it shipped here in the Philippines via Johnny Air Cargo.

WARDROBE CLEANUP

I finally decided to get rid of almost half of the clothes in my closet- Those that are too big for me now or the ones that I don't see myself wearing anymore. It was difficult for me to get rid of some because they held some sentimental value. But then again i needed the space so they had to go.

And what do you do after freeing up space in your closet? You go shopping, of course.
