NIGHTS LIKE THIS, YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE

Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo are members of electro pop group Icona Pop.

They hail from Sweden, where it seems like pooping out amazing pop music is their national passtime. Their recently released EP features gems like Manners, but my favorite would have to be their the latest single, Night Like This, which you listen to below:

 Amazing Right?

Find out more about them over at their website

MEET FLORRIE

another xenomania wonderbaby, 21 year old singer/songwriter/drummer florrie is propped to be the next indie pop darling. she's even the face and voice of the nina ricci's new nina l'elixir perfume, where she performs a cover of blondie's sunday girl.

JUST SAY YES

one of the most romantic songs i've ever heard. it gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it. it's not typical snow patrol fare, probably because it was written for someone else in mind at first (gwen stefani, then nicole scherzinger) but when those didn't fall through, the band decided to reclaim the song and put it in their album.

snow patrol (original)

nicole scherzinger's version

i would really love to do a cover of this song, when that time comes that there's someone appropriate to sing this to, of course.
