A NIU DINING EXPERIENCE

A few weeks ago, a couple of friends and myself were invited to try out Niu, a new culinary experience by the people behind Vikings. It is located at the SM Aura Skypark right across Samsung Hall. When we arrived, we were greeted by the long line of elegantly dressed staff who showed us to our table.

Since my order of the Fujifilm XF1 (which I will do a review of soon) finally arrived last Tuesday (c/o Amazon), I've decided to take lots of sample photos to see what the little beauty can do. And what better way than to take photos of food! haha

FYI, I didn't eat everything here. Some of it are just photos I took of food my friends ordered. #defensive

2ND'S

HELLO AGAIN

It's been months since I last updated this here blog. I wish I had an excuse but sadly that's not the case. Well anyway this is just a quick post to say thank you to some wonderful people who sent over some stuff in the past couple of months.

Firstly, thanks very much to Golden ABC for the holiday gift that they sent over last December.

Last week, Penshoppe sent over their Ed Westwick signature fragrance called Free Spirited. I must say it smells pretty good!

Also last week, Meryl of Alchemy Baking Magic sent over some macarons. I will being doing another post on this in the coming days. (Spoiler alert: they're very good). Thank you!

Anyway, that is it for now. Expect a barrage of posts in the coming days. Haha

2ND'S AT BONIFACIO HIGH STREET

 

So yesterday because of the supposed thunderstorm, we were allowed to leave the office earlier than usual. And so my sisters and a cousin of mine decided to go out for some dinner to catch up. 2nd's is this semi-new restaurant in Bonifacio High Street. It is where Mag:net used to be, in the same building as Nike and Agave.

I wasn't expecting the place to be so gorgeous! Lots of browns and whites! (which are my favorite colors btw)

Film cannisters! and books! This is how I imagine my dream house would look like. (sister not included)

And I haven't even gotten to the food yet.

The Mac & Cheese something something. Really really good!

Fish and Chips. It was only ok for me. But then again, I was never a Fish and Chips fan so maybe you guys would like it. 

Duck on Mashed Potato (Not what it's actually called)

Uhh... I think that's chicken. Also very good! 

Shepherd's Pie! Yum!

We also ordered the steak, but didn't get to take a photo because I decided to go for a walk around High Street before it arrived and when I got back it was gone. And I'm really sorry about the very vague description of the dishes because I forgot to take a photo of the menu so there. But anyway, you guys should really check this place out. You won't be disappointed.
