MARIO MAURER INVADES MANILA

I was invited by Penshoppe to attend the Fan Conference for Mario Maurer, the Thai actor who is the brand's latest endorser. It was held at The PICC and the event was hosted by VJ Utt. Blush, the first Pan-Asian girl group also graced us with performances. Also present during the event were Penshoppe brand ambassadors Victor Basa, Mikael Daez and Solenn Heussaff.

The collection to me had a very Wes Anderson feel to it.

It had a lot nautical nods as well, which I can't help but love.

Incredibly playful and fun collection. I especially love the festive "dia de los muertos" styling.

I think we ended up spending most of our time at the lobby during the event because it was packed to the brim with people. Again, after a few drinks I totally forgot that I even brought a camera.  Caroline Hjelt and Aino Jawo are members of electro pop group Icona Pop.

They hail from Sweden, where it seems like pooping out amazing pop music is their national passtime. Their recently released EP features gems like Manners, but my favorite would have to be their the latest single, Night Like This, which you listen to below:
